In forensic science, blood is more than biological evidence — it is a silent witness. A single drop can reconstruct movements, expose violence, identify the perpetrator, and sometimes even vindicate the innocent.
Modern DNA profiling has transformed criminal investigation by enabling forensic experts to extract identity from microscopic traces through STR analysis and PCR amplification. Even years later, dried blood on clothing, weapons, or hidden surfaces may still preserve the truth.
But forensic chemistry speaks even when blood is no longer visible.
