🇵🇰 Happy Independence Day, Pakistan!
On this Independence Day, we extend our heartfelt wishes to the entire nation on behalf of the Scheduled Caste community of Pakistan.
The struggle for Pakistan was a collective struggle in which people from different communities, backgrounds, and regions contributed with hope, sacrifices, and commitment. The Scheduled Caste Hindu community also played its part in the political and social struggle surrounding the creation of Pakistan, including through support for the Pakistan Movement and participation in the democratic process of that historic period.
Today, we remember those contributions and reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of unity, equality, social justice, religious freedom, and equal citizenship envisioned for Pakistan.
May Pakistan continue to progress as a peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous country where every citizen—regardless of religion, caste, ethnicity, or background—has equal rights, dignity, and opportunities.
