Saleem Sahgal (late) who died on 19th December, 2005, was the founding partner of Walker Martineau Saleem. He was admitted as an Advocate in 1975 and did his LL.M. from the University of London and was later called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn, London in 1977. He specialized in criminal law, arbitrations and tax matters and did substantial research into the Islamic Law of Banking. He was a visiting lecturer in constitutional and administrative laws at the Pakistan Civil Services Academy, Lahore. 1. Justice (Retd.) M.S.H. Quraishi, M.A., LL.B: Mr. Quraishi started his career in the Indian Administrative Service before the partition of India and was later member of the Civil Service of Pakistan. He served in a wide variety of distinguished administrative and judicial offices before being raised to the bench of Lahore High Court in 1971. He retired as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and later served as Chairman of the National Industrial Relations Commission. Quraishi is a specialist in Labour, Industrial Relations and Constitutional Law.
2. Muhammad Naeem Khan, LL.B, D.T.L: passed LL.B from the Punjab Law College, Lahore in the year 1992 by securing overall first position and Gold Medal in the University of the Punjab. In the year 1994, got first position and Gold Medal in the University of the Punjab in D.T.L (Diploma in Taxation Laws). In March, 1997, joined Judicial Services as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate by passing P.C.S (Judicial) Examination and secured overall 2nd position in Punjab in PCS (Judicial). In March 2000, resigned from judicial services. In May 2003, appointed as Legal Adviser of Punjab Privatization Board, Government of the Punjab from where resigned in August 2004.
3. Barrister Bushra Saqib, LL.M (University College London): Ms. Bushra Saqib holds Masters in Corporate & Commercial Laws from University College, London. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2009 and is a Barrister member of the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn. During her stay in England, she interned with various commercial law chambers and also worked at Central Criminal Courts, London. Ms. Saqib was admitted as an Advocate Lahore High Court in 2007. After her LL.B in 2004, she has varied work experience in Pakistan in drafting of Commercial contracts, Civil as well as Criminal trial and appeal work.
