Perhaps for the first time in judicial history, a formal protest was held by the court staff against lawyers. The clerical staff organized an official gathering in Civil Courts "Sr. Civil Judge Block" Lahore, made speeches, and yet, there wasn’t a whisper of objection from any side. The question is, can judicial staff or government employees hold such rallies and protests? A criminal case had already been registered against the lawyer they had complaints about. So, what justifies this protest? Is there now an attempt to organize the court staff against lawyers, further undermining the dignity of the legal profession?
