🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Lahore High Court issues guidelines to FIA regarding offloading passengers at airports
The court ruled that citizens cannot be stopped from foreign travel on "vague suspicions or unclear grounds," stating that FIA powers are not unlimited.
In a detailed judgment on a petition by Muhammad Abbas, the court noted he was offloaded despite having immigration clearance and a boarding pass, on the suspicion that he might not return from Dubai.
The court observed he was not named in any case, inquiry, blacklist, or ECL, and held that foreign travel is a "fundamental right" under the Constitution.
It further ordered that officials must record all questions asked from passengers and their responses during the process.
