📢 اسلام آباد میں مقامی تعطیلات کا اعلان

ڈسٹرکٹ مجسٹریٹ آفس کی جانب سے جاری نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق 9 اور 10 اپریل 2026 (جمعرات اور جمعہ) کو اسلام آباد کی حدود میں مقامی تعطیلات کا اعلان کر دیا گیا ہے۔

تاہم شہریوں کی سہولت کے پیشِ نظر درج ذیل ضروری ادارے معمول کے مطابق کام جاری رکھیں گے:

All shops, markets, and shopping malls will close at 8:00 PM, while restaurants, food outlets, and marriage halls will close by 10:00 PM. Essential services including pharmacies, petrol pumps, and food essentials will remain operational.

The Islamabad High Court has called for amendments to the Nikahnama to ensure wives receive an equal share in assets acquired during marriage in cases of divorce or the husband’s de@th.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Qayyani emphasized strengthening women’s property rights and urged legal reforms to protect housewives financially.

He also highlighted the need to educate women about their marital rights to build a more just and progressive society.

Notification issued by the Islamabad High Court (dated 14-03-2026) regarding austerity and fuel-saving measures due to the current global and regional situation and government policy.

1️⃣ Four-Days Working Week
• The Islamabad High Court will observe a 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday).
• Holidays will be from Friday to Sunday.
• Staff must remain available on call/WhatsApp during holidays and cannot leave the station without approval.
• All courts of IHC will function with 50% capacity.
• Registrar/MIT will work from home on a weekly rotation.
• District Courts Islamabad will:
• Work Monday–Thursday with full capacity.
• Duty Judges will handle urgent criminal and civil matters on Friday & Saturday with minimum staff.

2️⃣ Cases That Will Still Be Fixed / Heard
The following urgent matters will continue to be heard:
Pre-arrest and post-arrest bail
Habeas corpus petitions
Urgent injunction/stay petitions involving irreparable loss
Any genuinely urgent matter with approval
Cases fixed by the court

A duty roster will be issued for this purpose.

3️⃣ Reduction of Fuel for Official Vehicles
For the next two months:
IHC official vehicles: fuel reduced by 50%.
District Judiciary vehicles: fuel reduced by 25%.
Monetization policy remains unchanged
4️⃣ Protocol & Security
No security vehicles will be provided to Judges of IHC or District Judiciary within ICT limits.
5️⃣ Video Link Hearings
Lawyers may appear through teleconferencing/video link wherever available.

ملک بھر کی عدالتوں میں توانائی بچت اقدامات، چار روزہ ورکنگ ویک کی منظوری

اسلام آباد: سپریم کورٹ آف پاکستان نے ملک بھر کی عدالتوں میں کفایت شعاری اور توانائی بچت اقدامات نافذ کرنے کا فیصلہ کرلیا۔

اس سلسلے میں قومی جوڈیشل پالیسی میکنگ کمیٹی کا ہنگامی اجلاس منعقد ہوا جس میں توانائی بحران کے پیش نظر متعدد اہم فیصلوں کی منظوری دی گئی۔

اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ ہائی کورٹس اور وفاقی شرعی عدالت میں چار روزہ ورکنگ ویک نافذ کیا جائے گا۔ اس فیصلے کے تحت عدالتیں پیر سے جمعرات تک مکمل طور پر کام کریں گی جبکہ جمعہ اور ہفتہ کو محدود نوعیت کی عدالتی سرگرمیاں جاری رکھی جائیں گی۔

اسی طرز پر ڈسٹرکٹ کورٹس میں بھی پیر سے جمعرات تک چار روزہ ہفتہ وار نظام کے تحت کام کرنے کی منظوری دی گئی ہے۔

کمیٹی نے اخراجات میں کمی کے لیے ججز کے فیول الاؤنس میں نمایاں کمی کا فیصلہ بھی کیا ہے۔ ہائی کورٹس اور وفاقی شرعی عدالت کے ججز کے فیول الاؤنس میں پچاس فیصد کمی کی منظوری دی گئی جبکہ جوڈیشل افسران کے پیٹرول الاؤنس میں پچیس فیصد کمی کی جائے گی۔

اجلاس میں عدالتی کارروائی کو جدید خطوط پر استوار کرنے کے لیے ویڈیو لنک کے استعمال کو فروغ دینے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا تاکہ غیر ضروری سفر اور اخراجات میں کمی لائی جا سکے۔

اس کے ساتھ ساتھ عدالتی عملے کی روٹیشنل حاضری متعارف کرانے کی منظوری بھی دی گئی ہے تاکہ توانائی کے استعمال کو کم کیا جا سکے۔

کمیٹی نے ہائی سیکیورٹی زونز میں اضافی پروٹوکول اور سیکیورٹی گاڑیوں کے استعمال پر پابندی عائد کرنے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا تاہم خیبرپختونخوا اور بلوچستان میں ججز کی سیکیورٹی مقامی صورتحال کے مطابق برقرار رکھی جائے گی
