Attention ‼️

For everyone's information, let us just clarify that teams are not allowed to pick up players from other barangays. Since this is an inter-barangay basketball tournament, all players on a team must be residents of or belong to the same barangay. This is to ensure fairness for all teams and to avoid any misunderstandings. Let’s keep the game fair and follow the rules. Thank you for understanding.

LOOK | Barangay Basud SK Distributes Sports Materials to Local Schools

BARANGAY BASUD, SAN ISIDRO, LEYTE — The Barangay Basud Sangguniang Kabataan Officials (SK), headed by Hon. Ricardo Claros Jr., together with the chair Committee on Education, Hon. Cheermay Talle (Barangay Kagawad), successfully distributed sports materials to Basud Elementary School and San Isidro National High School (SINHS) – Basud Extension Class .

The initiative aims to support the schools’ sports and physical education activities by providing much-needed equipment that can be used by students in various athletic and recreational activities.

The distribution reflects the commitment of the Barangay Basud SK Council to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and an active lifestyle among the youth. Through programs like this, the SK continues to strengthen its partnership with local schools and help create opportunities for young people to develop their talents both inside and outside the classroom.

The SK Council also expressed its appreciation to the school administrators, teachers, and students for their warm reception and continued cooperation in youth-centered programs.

This activity is part of the SK’s continuing efforts to ensure that the needs and welfare of the youth remain a priority in the community.

"Investing in our youth is investing in the future of Barangay Basud."

The Barangay Basud Sangguniang Kabataan looks forward to implementing more programs and initiatives that will empower the youth and contribute to the development of a stronger, healthier, and more active community.
