⚖️ ONGOING | FREE LEGAL AID SERVICE – BSU ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

‎The CCDC Community Legal Aid Center (CLAC), through its Law Student Practitioners (LSPs), is currently assisting in the FREE LEGAL AID SERVICE being conducted by the Benguet State University – Office for Legal Affairs (BSU-OLA), in cooperation with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Baguio-Benguet Chapter (IBP-Baguio-Benguet), today, September 29, 2026 (Tuesday).

‎The CCDC Law Student Practitioners (LSP) students proudly conducted a Free Legal Aid activity as part of the Purokalusugan Activity initiative on September 25, 2026, at the Gabriela Silang Barangay Hall, Baguio City.
‎
‎This meaningful activity provided an opportunity for the students to extend their legal knowledge and service to the community by offering basic legal assistance and guidance to residents.
‎
‎Through this initiative, the CCDC LSP students continue to uphold the spirit of public service and contribute to promoting access to justice within the community.

👩‍⚖️⚖️ 𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑪: 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒊𝒅 & 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓 – 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝑬𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎

The CCDC Community Legal Aid Center (CLAC), in coordination with the Municipality of Bokod – MSWDO, conducted a Free Legal Aid activity and Legal Seminar as part of the Women Enhancement Program – GAD Training Orientation on September 25, 2026, at the Bokod Evacuation Center, Bokod, Benguet.

The CCDC Law Student Practitioners (LSPs), together with their supervising lawyer, extended their legal knowledge and service to the community by providing legal consultation and advice, drafting of simple affidavits, and discussions on the Anti-Rape Law, Anti-Bullying Act, and Cyber Libel.

The activity served as an avenue to promote legal awareness and provide accessible legal assistance to the women of Bokod, while allowing the LSPs to put their legal education into practice through meaningful community service.

‎The CCDC Community Legal Aid Center (CLAC) successfully conducted the NSTP 1 – Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) Seminar on Drug and Substance Abuse, Prevention, and Control for CCDC college students on September 22, 2026 (Tuesday), held at the CCDC Tupay-ya Gym, Buyagan, Poblacion, La Trinidad, Benguet.

‎The seminar was conducted in two sessions, with the morning session held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, under the theme “Awareness to Action: Leading Drug-Free Future.”
‎
‎Law Student Practitioners from the CCDC College of Law, together with their Supervising Lawyer, served as resource speakers, providing NSTP 1 – CWTS students with relevant legal knowledge on drug-related laws, prevention, and the importance of promoting a safe and drug-free community.

Five Law Student Practitioners from the CCDC Clinical Legal Aid Program joined lawyers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in providing free legal aid during the La Trinidad MSME Summit 2026, held at the Municipal Tourism Ground, Km. 5, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The activity brought legal services closer to the community by offering residents free consultations and advice on various legal concerns, as well as notarization of simple affidavits. It also helped strengthen legal awareness and access to justice, particularly for individuals who may face financial or practical barriers to obtaining legal assistance.

Law Student Practitioners from the CCDC Community Legal Aid Center (CLAC) joined the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) in providing free legal services as part of the celebration of Philippine Law Month on September 18, 2026 (Friday), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Information Alley & Tourism Building Stage.

The activity brought legal services closer to the community by offering free legal consultation and advice on various legal concerns, as well as drafting and notarization of simple affidavits. Through its participation, CLAC continues to support the IBP in promoting legal awareness and accessible legal assistance as part of the celebration of Philippine Law Month.
