So Easy to Fall in Love with Latte
I got Latte, a Shih Tzu, from my cousin. She originally got him from a friend, but because of her hectic schedule, she knew she would not be able to give him the time, attention, and care he truly needed.
Back in 2024, when she messaged me that the dog would be delivered, I was hesitant at first. I was working, trying to survive life while starting a new business venture, studying, and already taking care of 14 cats at that time.
It was truly a challenge. But something in me still said yes.
Then the 27th came.
He was delivered so small, just a 3-month-old puppy. The first time I carried him on my lap felt magical. I do not even know the exact word for it, but it simply felt right. His eyes were different. It felt like they were speaking to me. He just stayed there on my lap, so peaceful and so quiet.
At that moment, I simply accepted that he was Godโs gift to me.
Then I realized something even more special. December 28 was my 29th birthday, and just like that, it felt like I suddenly had a baby.
From being a cat mom, I became a dog mom too.
To all of you, I will love you the best way I can.
I am surviving. I am improving. I am trying to build a better life because I want a life with all of you in it.
So stay with me for a very long time.
We will live together, forever
