Some conversations are difficult to begin - but they can make an enormous difference to the people we love. As part of Dying Matters Week, our lawyer Richard Worker will be joining a specialist panel to discuss end-of-life planning with compassion, clarity and practical guidance.

Richard is also Chairman of Age Concern Rodney and has many years' experience helping families put their affairs in order and feel more prepared for the future.

Wednesday 9th September, 12.30pm - 2.30pm at Whangaparaoa Library, Stanmore Bay.

This is a free community event and everyone is welcome.

MEET THE TEAM I CHRISTINE GRANGER

Tell us a little about yourself:

I’ve always been passionate about creativity, design and building brands. After studying graphic design at AUT, I furthered my studies in London, before working with organisations including Screentime, TVNZ, Touchdown Productions, Dermalogica NZ, Arkles Entertainment, The Museum Circle and Photography International Magazine. I've owned and operated my own interior design business, Dressing Rooms, and have designed the fit-outs for KidsCan, Shed 16, North Shore Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery, The Legal Team in Silverdale and now Millwater Law. Today I look after the branding, marketing and communications for Millwater Law, combining creativity with a passion for building meaningful client relationships.

When you're not at work, where are we most likely to find you?

You'll usually find me dreaming up my next project, working on interior design ideas, dining out with my fiancé Richard, travelling, or spending time with family and friends.

What's one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I used to compete in Highland dancing, have owned eight motorcycles, presented a TV show and once built a life-size reindeer for the Orewa Santa Parade - oops, that's more than one!
