From 3 November 2025, New student visas and Exchange & Study Abroad students on one semester experiences will include 25 hours/week work rights.

Currently on 20 hours? You can apply for a variation of conditions from 3 November - but if your visa already has full time work rights over summer, you may want to wait for your next visa application.
