Nahjul Balaghah

Nahjul Balaghah Imam Ali (a.s.):ما أكثر العبر وأقل الإعتبار >>How many are the objects of les It was collected by Sharif Razi, a Shia scholar in the 4th century.

The Nahj al-Balagha (Arabic: نهج البلاغة "Peak of Eloquence") is the most famous collection of sermons, letters, tafsirs and narrations attributed to Ali (Ali ibn Abi Talib), cousin and son-in-law of Muhammad. Known for its eloquent content, it is considered a masterpiece of literature in Shi'a Islam, second only to the Qur'an and Prophetic narrations. Nahj means open way, road, course, method or

manner. Balaghah means eloquence, art of good style and communication, rhetoric etc. Introduction
Nahj al Balagha is a collection of 241 sermons, 79 letters, and 489 utterances. As per each new publishing versus past volumes, the number of sermons, letters and utterances has varied from 238 to 241, 77 to 79, and 463 to 489, respectively. The book narrates from Ali on a wide variety of topics, ranging from the creation of the world, the creation of Adam, end of the Universe and the arrival of Imam al-Mahdi. Authenticity
Since the book is a literary work meant to demonstrate Ali's eloquence, it does not gather all of Ali's sermons. Instead, only segments deemed to possess greater literary value are included. The book also lacks an exact sourcing of this content. As a result, in recent years some researchers have focused their work on finding the exact source of these sermons and letters. Masadir Nahj al-Balagha wa asaniduh written by ‘Abd az-Zahra' al-Husayni al-Khatib introduces some of these. An alternative sourcing of the book's content by Muhammad Baqir al-Mahmudi represents all of ‘Ali's extant speeches, sermons, decrees, epistles, prayers, and sayings that are found in Nahj al-Balagha. Thus, except some aphorisms, the original source of all the content of Nahj al-balaghah has been determined.

Hadith of the day by Imam Hussein (A):

A man came to Imam Hussain (Master of the martyrs) and said: I am a sinful man and can't avoid doing sin, please advise me. Imam (A) said: "If you can do these five things, then commit sin as much you like. First of all: don’t eat the sustenance of God and commit sin as much you like. Second: go beyond the domain of God and commit sin as much you like. Third: seek a site where God can not observe you and commit sin as much you like. Fourth :if the Angel of death comes to you to take away your soul, expel him away from yourself and commit sin as much you like. Fifth: If the Angel of Hell was about to throw you into the hell-fire, stop him and commit sin as much you like."

Hadith of the Day

Imam Hussain said:..
“People are slaves of the world and religion is only (like a morsel) on their tongues that they chew around in their mouth. But when tested with difficulties, the religious are but a few.”

(Tuhaf al-Oqool, p. 245)

This saying of our oppressed Imam (a.s.) has proved correct in every era. In every religion and in every community there have been people who are slaves of the world and exploit religion for their personal gains. People - learned as well as laymen - prefer to follow only those religious laws that are compatible with their interests and mode of thinking. The moment they are confronted with some calamity, (which is an inseparable part of man's life), they tread the path of denial and deviate from the 'Straight Path'. And in the words of Imam (a.s.) 'the religious are but a few'.
If we look at the events leading to Karbala, we find that as many as 70,000 Muslims had sworn allegiance to Muslim Ibn Aqeel (a.s.). But after being threatened by Ibne Ziyad, the accursed, there remained only one individual who stood by Muslim (a.s.) and was willing to help him.
In the end, let us pray to Allah, the Almighty, that He keeps us steadfast on the 'Straight Path', especially in calamities.

The mind of a wise man is the safest custody of secrets; cheerfulness is the key to friendship; patience and forbearance will conceal many defects

Imam Ali Said (a.s)
When I feel angry with a person how and when should I satisfy my anger whether at a time when I am not in a position to retaliate and people may advise me to bear patiently or when I have power to punish and I forgive.

have you ever thought about how you were created? WHAT are you?..
you were created as a SOUL.. and placed into this PHYSICAL body..
your body is just a TOOL!
a tool for your soul to carry out this TEMPORARY PHYSICAL section, of your ETERNAL life...
a tool which be guided into investing and feeding your soul!
but what do we do instead of this? we dedicate all our lives to feed "A TOOL" with physical and worldly pleasures?
