Legal Research Foundation Incorporated The Legal Research Foundation (Inc.) is an independent, non-profit body associated with the University of Auckland Faculty of Law.

We are a non-profit organisation developed to bring the profession, the judiciary and the University together. We hold conferences, lectures and events. The Foundation also promotes legal education, research, and law reform by running seminars and conferences for the legal and academic communities.

The Legal Research Foundation is excited to be giving away free tickets to students to two seminars.
1. A Masterclass in Contract Law on 29th October, from 4.30pm to 6pm with senior barrister Andrew Beck examining the most significant developments in contract law over the past two years.
2. A Brown Bag Seminar on "Drafting Pleadings" which takes place on 10 October at lunchtime. This will be a great starter for those students wanting to work in litigation as the speaker will take you step-by-step through the process of drafting a statement of claim in civil proceedings.

If you are planning a career in the court as a litigator this will be for you. Taking place on Friday, 28 June, 1pm to 2pm, offices of Bell Gully in Shortland Street.
