Important things to be noticed before entering into the new fiscal year:-
1. Make sure that Sales Bills/Invoices are re-numbered and start from 001 from 1st of Shrawan.
2. Close the accounts of the previous fiscal year and start new fiscal year if you use Accounting Software and start new ledgers and vouchers if you follow manual accounting system.
3. Renewal of Exim Code to be done within the end of every fiscal year. (end of Asar)
4. Be prepared for yearly renewal jobs at different government offices such as Ward Office Renewal , Construction License Renewal at Municipality or Metropolitan Office, Excise Permit Renewal at Tax Office, Periodic Report submission at Tourism Office etc.
5. Make sure the filed VAT returns, E-TDS or Estimated Tax Returns are correct and advance taxes are paid in full to avoid interest and fines in cases of late payment or delay submission of returns.
6. Consult with your auditor for other necessary things to be kept on mind upon closing the previous fiscal year and moving on to new fiscal year.

Key points addressed by New Budget 2082/83

1. No bank guarantee will be required for obtaining exim code
2. No increase in import duties for EVs (electronic vehicles)
3. No minimum tax is to be paid if the firm doesnot carry out taxable transactions
4. No VAT will be levied on digital payments (Fonepay, connect ips)
5. Income Tax rebate will be given for hotel and IT business
