Since 2005, the network of the European Consumer Centres promotes the understanding of EU consumers' rights and assists in resolving complaints about purchases made in another country of the network (including all 28 MS of the EU, Norway and Iceland), when traveling or shopping online.
The ECC-Net can assist you by:
- informing you of your rights under EU and national consumer legislation;
- giving advice on possible ways of dealing with your complaint;
- providing direct assistance to resolve complaints in an amicable way with traders
- redirecting you to an appropriate body if the ECC-Net cannot help
The ECC-Net also provides for a free mobile app "ECC-Net: Travel" to help consumers when traveling abroad.
