On behalf of the Current and extended PACIFIKUS family we would like to acknowledge the passing of someone who was a very special brother and friend to us all.

Ray Puni AKA Ray Gee Artist/Fashion Designer and Musician supported the PACIFIKUS VISION from its early conception in 2014. Ray was intended to travel with his work to Europe for the PACIFIKUS Festival in August of 2015 but due to complications causing him difficulty breathing was unable to travel.
Despite this set back Ray was determined to support the vision he believed in, so he continued to participate.
What followed was a series of art exhibitions and fundraisers during 2015 in the lead up to the PACIFIKUS FESTIVAL in Amsterdam. Ray was always willing to help and support our team. Some of these occasions are captured in these photos.

The work of PACIFIKUS and the festival in Amsterdam have inspired creative movements in Europe and around the Pacific and we recognise Ray as being one of the foundation stones in the work that is being done and to follow through the PACIFIKUS family tree.

Thank you Ray for your contributions, for your time and dedication to not only your dreams but the dreams of others. Never forgotten

RIP to our Tongan brother! All Black Legend Jonah Lomu gone but never forgotten!

"Kuo u fakalangilangi’i koe ‘i mamani. Kuo u ‘osi fai e fatongia na’a ke tuku mai ke u fai.”
Toka ihe nonga moe fiemalie. to our Tongan brother Jonah Lomu, he was a true legend in the sport of rugby and paved the way for thousands of Polynesian kids who aspired to be just like him! Jonah Lomu was no doubt our Pacific Michael Jordan. Outside of his sporting career this warrior was also an Ambassador for Unicef NZ and a member of The Champions for Peace Club. Gone too soon brother! Rest Easy.
