What if your perspective on education, technology, politics, health, sports, fashion, entertainment, religion, or any issue shaping our society - could become part of a publication marking seven years of youth-led community development?

As part of the Zaria Youth Association (ZYA) 7th Anniversary, the Magazine & Documentation Sub-Committee invites members, young writers, professionals, researchers, creatives and well-wishers to contribute original articles to the ZYA Achievers Magazine.

It is an opportunity to share an idea, contribute to a conversation, document a perspective, and leave something meaningful behind in the story of ZYA.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2026 🌍

On this International Youth Day,
We extend our heartfelt greetings and sincere appreciation to all the vibrant, resilient, and hardworking youths of Zaria and its environs.

As young people, we are not merely leaders of tomorrow we are leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, professionals, and change-makers of today.

At the Zaria Youth Association (ZYA), our commitment remains clear: to encourage, empower, support, and create meaningful opportunities that can reshape the paths of our youths towards greater achievements, self-reliance, and lasting success.

We believe that when young people are given the right opportunities, skills,mentorship, and support, they can transform not only their own lives but also their families and communities.

Therefore, let us continue to embrace education, entrepreneurship, digital skills, vocational training, innovation, responsible leadership, and community service. Let us reject hopelessness, dependency, and anything that limits our potential.

To every Zaria youth struggling to find their way: do not give up. Your present circumstances do not define your future. Keep learning, keep building, keep believing, and keep moving forward.

Kungiyar Matasan Zaria (ZYA)

Kungiyar Matasan Zaria tare da haɗin gwiwa da Greenfield Initiative sun gabatar da shiri me taken CIVIC Rise Project, wani shiri da Heinrich Böll Foundation (Abuja) ta ɗauki nauyi. An gabatar da shirin a ICT Hall Kaduna State.

An ƙaddamar da wannan shiri ne domin wayar da kan al’umma kan illolin rashin yin zaɓe, tare da bayyana hanyoyin da za a bi domin kauce wa faɗawa hannun shugabanni marasa kishin ƙasa.

Haka kuma, shirin ya mayar da hankali kan muhimmancin sanin haƙƙin ɗan ƙasa da rawar da kowa ke takawa wajen gina dimokiraɗiyya mai ƙarfi.

A yayin taron, Shugaban Kungiyar Matasan Zaria wato Rt.Comrd Yusuf Bello Umar (Limamin Matasa)
ya gabatar da presentation mai taken “Grassroots Realities – Voter Education and Mobilization in a Season of Distrust”, inda ya tattauna manyan ƙalubale kamar voter apathy (ƙin fita zaɓe), vote-buying (sayen ƙuri’a), da kuma hanyoyin sake gina amincewar al’umma.

Bayan haka, fellows na shirin sun shiga kasuwanni da wuraren taruwar jama’a domin wayar da kan al’umma kan illar rashin yin zaɓe, tare da ƙarfafa su su yi rajista da karɓar katin zaɓe, domin shi ne haƙƙinsu na asali a tsarin dimokiraɗiyya.

Alhamdulillah Rabbil Alamin. Muna miƙa saƙon taya murna tare da godiya ga dukkan matasan da s**a samu karɓar kifaye a yau, a ƙarƙashin ingantaccen jagoranci na Shugaban Kungiyar Zaria Youth Association (ZYA),
Rt. Comrade Yusuf Bello Umar (Limamin Matasa).

Wannan shiri wani muhimmin mataki ne da kungiya ta ɗauka domin ƙarfafa matasa, bunƙasa sana’o’i, da kuma inganta dogaro da kai ta hanyar sana’ar kiwon kifi. Muna da yakinin cewa wannan dama za ta zama tubalin gina rayuwa mai inganci, tare da taimakawa wajen rage zaman banza da ƙarfafa tattalin arzikin matasa a Zaria da ma kewaye.

Duk wanda aka ba kifi, ya sani cewa ba kifin kaɗai aka ba shi ba; an ba shi dama, amana da ƙalubale na aiwatar da abin da ya koya a aikace. Wannan wata hanya ce ta gwada jajircewa, gaskiya da ƙwarewa. Idan aka yi amfani da wannan dama yadda ya dace, tare da hakuri da jajircewa, to za a samu nasara, a kuma amfana da ilimi da gogewar da aka koya.

Kungiyar Matasan Zaria (ZYA) na ƙarfafa dukkan waɗanda s**a amfana da wannan shiri da su yi amfani da wannan dama cikin tsari, rikon amana da tsoron Allah, domin a gaba a samu faɗaɗa shirin zuwa ga sauran matasa.

Allah Ya sanya albarka, Ya ba da nasara, Ya kuma sanya wannan shiri ya zama alheri ga kowa. 🤲🏽
