On the left is Sheikh Ibrahim Ibn Saleh al-Hussaini, Tijaniyah scholar, Grand M***i of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Head of the Supreme Council for Fatwa and Islamic Affairs in Nigeria.

On the right is Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Hashim Ashimi, Grand M***i of Saki Land and M***i of the Tijaniyyah Association of Yoruba Land, Edo, and Delta States.

May Allah preserve them, grant them long life in good health, and accept their service to Islam and the Ummah.

In 1962, Queen Elizabeth II honored renowned Nigerian Islamic scholar Maolanah Sheikh Ahmad Tijani Bin Mustopha Awelenje, popularly known as (Alfa Saki), with an MBE.

The recognition, published in the _London Gazette_ on 2nd June 1962, celebrated his outstanding leadership and community service during Nigeria’s transition to an independent Commonwealth realm. At the time, he served as the Seriki of Muslims for Western Nigeria and Life President-General of the United Muslim Council of Nigeria.

On behalf of the Ummah in Saki Land and beyond, we celebrate you today as you mark another year of life, knowledge, and service to Islam.

May Almighty Allah preserve you in good health, strengthen you in taqwa, and increase you in beneficial knowledge and wisdom. Congratulations to Sheikh Issa Fasasi Abimojegbe Azzakawiy on the recent blessing of the new Masjid, which now hosts Jumu’ah services every Friday and includes buildings for the Arabic school (Ile Kewu). قد جئت "شاكي" فاستنار ترابُها
يا مرحبًا بابنِ الكرامِ وسِرِّهمْ
نورِ السلالةِ في المقامِ الأعظمِ

أهلاً سِرَاجَ الدينِ يا نور الورى
يمشي على نهجِ الهدى المتقدِّمِ

سهلاً أيا بدر الدجى بجلاله
وتمطّرتْ ومن السماء كزمزم

ابنُ الذي فاضتْ بحارُ علومِهِ
فيضًا يُحيي القلبَ ذاك بالطلسم

ابنُ الكُولَخِيِّ الذي عمَّ الورى
نورُ الحقيقةِ فيهِ سرٌّ مُلهمِ

حملَ الأمانةَ عن أبيهِ مُبشِّرًا
بالفيضِ يجلو كلَّ قلبٍ مُظلمِ

قد جئتَ "شاكِي" فاستنارَ ترابُها
وتزيَّنَتْ بكَ في الجمالِ الأتمِّ

هذه الديارُ تُقول أهلًا محبَّةً
وتفوحُ بالأنوارِ من كلِّ الفمِ

عن شيخِنا عبدِ العزيزِ رسالةٌ
حبٌّ يُزفُّ بروحِ صدقٍ مُكرمِ

يا وارثَ الأسرارِ فيضُك واصلٌ
للقلبِ يُحيي كلَّ شوقٍ مُضرمِ

نمضي على نهجِ الطريقةِ خاشعينْ
نرجو القبولَ من الإلهِ الأكرمِ

صلّى الإلهُ على النبيِّ وآلهِ
ما لاحَ بدرٌ في السماءِ مُتمِّ

Shabaabul Faedoh Tijaaniyyah welcomes Samahatu Sheikh Sirajudeen Ibrahim Inyass, the youngest son of Maolanah Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass, to Saki City. They are hosting a special Wazifah at Saki Central Mosque today, starting promptly at 4:00 PM. May his arrival bring greater progress and peace of mind to everyone in Saki, and may he return safely to Senegal, Bijahi Maolanah Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass Kaolakh, RTA.
