A lot of people have lost loved ones to death and wish they could have a moment to ask them questions or apologise to the ones they feel they offended. I'll tell you one of the shortest and fastest ways to reach the spirit of your dead mother, father, wife, husband, sister, brother, etc...

1. In the middle of the night, exactly 12am, go to a quiet empty room (make sure that no one will interrupt you)
2. Prepare two chairs, facing each other (just the way you sit face to face, when discussing with someone)
3. Sit on one of the chairs, while you place an item of the person's spirit you want to communicate with (could be their picture or a piece of cloth that belongs to them)
4. Now, you start talking out loud, not too loud, just loud enough like you are having a conversation with someone.
5. Apparently, at some point, you'll realise a strong presence sitting in the other chair. Listening.
6. Ask all the questions you need to ask, or say all you need to say to the person.
7. At the end, tell them you are going back to sleep, that they should clearly appear in your dream and answer all the questions you asked or reply everything you said, that it would mean a lot to you.
8. Remove the chairs and go back to sleep.
What you'll see, will give you the closure you seek or all the answers you need, which will be very helpful to you.
