The Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators (ICIARB) conveys her compliments and congratulates me on my successful completion of the Expedited Path to Fellowship (EPF) Part II Course of the Institute and passing the Post-Course Assessment.

I am glad to have qualified as Fellow of the Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators.

In Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/238/2023; Chianugo Chinweuba Peter v Go Daddy.com LLC and Google LLC, we commenced a suit on behalf of the Plaintiff before the Federal High Court, Abuja Division against the Defendants who registered the Plaintiff's YouTubeAudio.com domain and business name on their respective platforms but after 8 years of serious promotional and marketing works on the domain name, upon the ICANN Forum's decision, shutdown the domain name and removed it from their platforms without compensation to the Plaintiff on an allegation that the YouTubeAudio.com domain and business name infringe the YouTube trademark.

In our Reply to Google's Statement of Defence, we contend that YouTubeAudio.com domain name is different and distinct from YouTube trademark and Google would not have approved and registered YouTubeAudio.com.com on its Google AdSense and Google Playstore if the Plaintiff's domain name infringed its YouTube trademark.

The case was adjourned to 18th April 2024 for us to move our application for leave to amend our Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim.
