You see this thing called “bail on self-recognizance”?
It sounds simple… but it carries serious legal weight.
When someone like BLORD is granted bail on self-recognizance under Nigerian law, the court is saying:
“We trust you enough to release you… without stress.”
No surety.
No billionaire friend standing for you.
No need to raise millions overnight.
Just your name, your reputation, and your word.
But don’t get it twisted… this is not freedom without conditions.
The court is not doing you a favor — it is placing a legal responsibility on you.
That’s why one key condition was attached:
He must deposit his international passport.
What does that mean?
It means, as long as the case is ongoing, he is legally grounded in Nigeria.
No sudden trips. No disappearing acts.
Because in the eyes of the law, once you are on bail, you are still under the authority of the court.
Now here’s where it gets interesting…
Can he ever travel? Yes.
But not by his own decision.
He must return to court and convince the judge with a strong reason: Medical emergency.
Critical business engagement.
And even then, the court may still attach fresh conditions before releasing that passport temporarily.
So what should you learn from this?
Bail is not the end of a case.
It is not victory.
It is simply temporary freedom under strict trust.
And that trust can be withdrawn instantly if abused.
Ignorance of the law is never an excuse.
One wrong move, and that “soft landing” can turn into a hard fall.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when buying land in Nigeria is trusting too quickly.

You see a fine land, the price looks good, the agent sounds convincing… and you rush to pay.

What many people don’t realize is that some of these lands:

Have already been sold to more than one person

Are under government acquisition

Belong to families with ongoing disputes

And by the time the problem shows up, your money is already gone.

This is how people lose millions quietly.

Before you pay for any land, take your time and verify properly.
