Well, i am not a fan of saying things about people's or . In fact, I think this is my first time doing anything close to it.
I don't believe age is the determining factor for marriage. I believe maturity and wisdom are.
I also believe it's better to marry your person early than spend years in a relationship doing everything married people do... except actually get married.
Now, about & Jarvis—their marriage caught my attention.
First of all, why are you in a relationship for 3, 5, or even 7 years without a proposal? Who is really more "grown" between you and a 21-year-old who carried marriage with full chest? 😂 Papa and mama didn't help him pay bride price o! If you entered a relationship at 18 and you're hoping to marry at 25, what exactly is the seven-year internship for? I'm genuinely asking. 😅
And then you're 41, still waiting, but somehow criticizing a 21-year-old for getting married? Like it or not, the young man has already taken a step forward.
As for whether their marriage will last or not, that's their journey. I sincerely pray they grow in wisdom with each passing year. To be honest, even the so-called "matured" people still need plenty of wisdom too.
One thing I admire about Peller is his confidence. Have you seen the way he speaks his own version of English with so much confidence? 😂 He may come across as razz to some people, but the guy knows how to live and enjoy modern life, and he shows genuine respect to people where it's due. Just look at the caliber of people who showed up for his wedding. Meanwhile, some people have been waiting forever for "perfect wedding on budget" that never seems to arrive.
Even if life throws them a few surprises, I still appreciate that Peller and Jarvis did the right thing. They sought the consent of both parents, gave honor and respect where it was due, and officially started their journey together.
Peller and Jarvis, congratulations to you both! I wish you a smooth, peaceful, loving, and stress-free marriage. May your desire to grow old together be more than fulfilled. And abeg, make una no dey do too much Tom and Jerry for house o. 😂
