IS DR. FATAI BUHARI A SENATOR?
Please be honest and factual. Answer the question, Is Fatai Buhari a Senator?
There are Senators and there are Senators. I am yet to come across a Senator like Dr. Fatai Buhari.
Some, I mean some Senators are comedians and controversial while some sleep in chambers, Fatai Buhari is always alive and alert. He is specially tied to his job. Watch him on the floor of the Senate. I say without fear of contradiction, Dr. Fatai Buhari is a Distinguished Senator.
You may say, there are no standard tests to apply to a Senator, especially in Nigeria where the misfits, charlatans and people with moral and integrity deficit try to outsmart and shove aside real men.
Fatai Buhari scaled all the hurdles to become a Senator having served in the House of Representatives and as Commissioner in Oyo State.
Perhaps you don’t know. Dr. Fatai Buhari hails from Ogbomoso and represents Oyo North Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Dr. Fatai Buhari has come to set a template of how a Senator should be. He has redefined and repackaged a senator.
Wisdom, Intelligence, Integrity, Affability, Sharp Memory, Adaptability, Accesibility, charisma, humility, Vision and Drive are among the few leadership traits this Distinguished Senator has come to redefine and display as a senator and politician.
This is a modest attempt to appraise the man, present the facts as I see it and based on available information at my disposal. In coming to the conclusion about him, I made use of my personal observations, assessment and I rely on his acceptability by the low and the might and the general favourable dispositions of the people of his constituencies to him.
