*Nigerian Army Delegation Visits Afikpo Council Chairman as Federal Government is Set to Establish Army Recruitment & Training Institute*
In a groundbreaking development that promises to revolutionize the security and socio-economic landscape of Afikpo Local Government Area, the Nigerian Army has announced plans to establish an Army Recruitment & Training Institute along the strategic Amasiri/Edda axis of Ebonyi State.
Led by Major General M.A. Abdulahi, a high-powered delegation from the Nigerian Army paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Afikpo Local Government Area, NWACHI, Timothy A. U, in his office on Wednesday.
During the visit, Major General Abdulahi expressed profound gratitude to the Council Chairman for the warm reception accorded to his team, assuring that the Military High Command is poised to kick-start the Institute's activities as soon as possible.
