I’m wondering why he chose Law instead of a part-time or flexible course that fits his lifestyle. Law is intense, and honestly his management needs to do better with proper guidance and planning.

If the governor has influence or a close working relationship with the Chief Judge, the impeachment process can be stalled. The process cannot move forward unless the Chief Judge constitutes the investigative panel, as required by Section 188 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). Any refusal or delay effectively puts the impeachment on hold, since without a panel there can be no investigation or removal.
Use the CJ and the federal power at the center.

Nyesom Wike is a deeply selfish politician who has consistently prioritised personal interests over political stability and the public good.

Do you think it is right to impeach the Governor??

If that lawyer gets reported, the NBA can sanction them under the 2023 Remuneration Order. Undercharging is a serious offence that can lead to suspension or even disbarment. The rule clearly states that lawyers handling property transactions should charge about 10% of the total value of the deal.

Funny enough, the same people saying 10% is too much will gladly pay that or even more to an agent because they feel the agent deserves it better. The rule was created to protect the worth of legal services, not to be ignored for quick cash. The lawyer’s already been implicated, and if the matter is officially pursued, it could end his career.

It’s honestly hard to understand the logic behind the new 15% import tariff on petrol and diesel. 🤦‍♀️ How does a country that still imports about 70% of its refined fuel make such a policy?

With our refineries barely functioning, this decision will only push fuel prices higher, raise transport fares, and worsen inflation. Instead of fixing the refineries, stabilising the naira, and encouraging real investment in energy, the government keeps taking actions that hurt ordinary Nigerians.

This is not sound economic planning. It is a short-term revenue grab that deepens hardship and frustration. Until we can refine our own fuel and build a stable economy, these policies will continue to punish citizens instead of helping them. Nigeria deserves better leadership and smarter economic thinking.
What's your opinion on this new policy??

22/07/2025

Kemi Badenoch’s claim that she can’t pass Nigerian citizenship to her children because she’s a woman is ignorant and baseless. She is always quick to attack Nigeria blindly without facts. The 1999 Nigerian Constitution is crystal clear: Section 25(1)(c) states that ‘every person born outside Nigeria either of whose parents is a citizen of Nigeria is a citizen of Nigeria by birth.’ It says parent, not father. Section 42(1) also forbids discrimination based on s*x. Her children are Nigerian citizens by descent, whether she likes it or not. Yet, despite her own migrant background and the fact that she benefited from the same immigration system she now demonizes, she has been championing harsh immigration policies against Nigerians in the UK, including plans to raise the residency requirement for Indefinite Leave to Remain from 5 years to 10 years, and extending the total wait for British citizenship to at least 15 years. Instead of constantly pushing negative and misleading narratives about Nigerians and immigration, she should educate herself on the law and stop weaponizing false claims to tarnish Nigeria’s image.

How can someone who benefited from migration now push false narratives and stricter immigration laws against Nigerians.
What do you think of this hypocrisy?

18/07/2025

This statement from a sitting governor is not just reckless, it shows ignorance and desperation.

First, threatening someone’s safety because they didn’t “take permission” from you is an abuse of power and sounds like inciting violence. The Constitution gives every citizen the right to move freely, not to beg a governor before visiting.

Second, twisting Obi’s “We no dey give shishi” which means rejecting corruption and vote buying to make it look like stinginess? That’s either deliberate mischief or a lack of understanding.

Third, the struggle to even pronounce 15 million naira on stage says a lot. If a leader can’t handle simple articulation, how do you expect him to manage a state budget?

Lastly, the whole thing reeks of trying to please political godfathers instead of focusing on real governance. Edo people deserve better than empty threats and political show-off.

This is the mindset that keeps Nigeria crawling, more energy on ego and petty fights than on insecurity, jobs, and development.

What do you think??
