FULL REPORT FROM THE BAYELSA STATE CAMP
The Bayelsa Zonal youth camp started with the arrival of youths on the 1st of May, 2022 at Niger Delta University Amassoma, Bayelsa State. On Arrival, the youths were registered and given a file contained of writing materials and camp tag for easy Identification. Anambra State recorded a total no of 12participants for the youth Camp and over 130participants from 8states in the Zone.
The Camp was involved with a lot of activities and training sessions of about (9) Facilitators and (3) volunteers(known as Star team).
CAMP ACTIVITIES INCLUDES:
1st May(DAY 1)—Introduction, Interactions and Camp expectations.
2nd May(DAY 2)—Sessions on different topics held includes
•Personal Development Session
a) First Aid Training
b) Business proposal writing Seminar.
•Team Building training.
•Basic Principles of Guiding.
3rd May(DAY 3)— Day three started with a morning training session on •Basic Graphics design.
•Followed by the *OPENING CEREMONY*
Aside the campers were invited Guest, Dignitaries and Some National Executives for the Opening Ceremony. During the Opening ceremony, Presentions like Panel Talk Show, spoken poetry on the theme (Raising dynamic young women as leaders through capacity building), song presentation, etc were displayed. The ceremony ended with Presentation of Award to the Awardees and closing remark by the Zonal Youth Coordinator *(Miss Ikpeteboa Bolouere Abigail)*.
The Day 3 was wrapped up with the remaining training sessions which includes;
—Personal Development Session
•Basic video Editing
•Basic ICT
-Waggs Leadership Model
4th May(DAY 4)—This was the Last Day of the training sessions. The sessions that was held includes
—Social Entrepreneurship
—Business Seminar
—U-REPORT
The fourth Day Ended with a speech by the Ebonyi State Commissioner and a closing a Speech by the Deputy Chief Commissioner.
Certificate of Participation was issued to all the campers from each State.
