Mahkamah Sesyen di Muar telah melepaskan dan membebaskan Anak Guam kami pada hari ini dari 3 pertuduhan dibawah Seksyen 14(a) Akta Kesalahan-Kesalahan Seksual Terhadap Kanak-Kanak 2017.

Anak Guam telah dituduh pada Tahun 2024.

We started off this week with a Victory at the Muar Sessions Court.

The client was faced with 3 charges under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

He was charged in court in 2024. Today he walks free.

Melaka High Court 2, Thursday, 25th September 2025

Today we appeared before Yang Arif Suria Kumar for an appeal of a criminal matter.

We won the case at trial stage in December 2024 and the Prosecution subsequently appealed said decision.

SUCCESS AT SHAH ALAM COURT ✅

Thursday, 18th Sept 2025 - The Court discharged 6 of our Clients from an offence under the Employment Act 1955 after a year long saga.

Mr. Francis of Messrs Francis Augustine Law Chambers appeared alongside and assisted in the case.

3 Sept 2025, Mahkamah Sesyen Ayer Keroh - Anak guam kami telah dituduh merogol dan menyentuh secara seksual anak saudaranya. Anak saudaranya berumur 12 Tahun semasa laporan dibuat.

Setelah Bicara penuh, Hakim Mahkamah Seksyen 3, Puan Rohatul Akmar, telah mendapati pihak Pembelaan telah menimbulkan keraguan terhadap kedua-dua pertuduhan.

Mahkamah memutuskan supaya tertuduh DILEPASKAN & DIBEBASKAN.

ACQUITTED ✅

Our client was charged for r**e and touching a minor sexually. The alleged victim, who is his niece, was 12 years old during the claimed incident.

We maintained at all material time that our client was innocent of such heinous crimes.

Today, at the end of the Defence stage, the learned Sessions Court Judge, Puan Rohatul Akmar, found our client NOT GUILTY.

Our client is now a free man. He was falsely accused but we remained steadfast to prove our client’s innocence.

VICTORY✅ - CIVIL CASE WON TO CLOSE AUGUST 2025

PETALING JAYA’S SESSIONS COURT - The Learned Sessions Court Judge judged in our client’s favor earlier this afternoon.

This was a civil suit which began in 2022. Multiple law firms entered the fray, each attempting to tip the Court’s decision in their client’s favor.

Alas after full trial, our client was victorious in his claim.

VIRAL MELAKA DJ CASE DISCHARGED ✅

In June 2024, our client was charged in the Melaka Magistrate’s Court for obstructing a police officer from carrying out his duties. (Section 186 Penal Code)

We submitted that this charge was inaccurate.

IN FACT, our client was beaten by a few police men at a roadblock, making him a victim. He did not obstruct any police officer from carrying out any duty.

Trial proceeded. After cross examining the complainant (who was one of the police officer involved in the incident), without reexamining the witness, the learned Prosecutor asked for the case to be discharged.

No representation was written. We stood for justice.

4 July 2025, Malacca Court

We represented the Husband in Sessions Court 3, Malacca who was faced with a charge under Section 412 of Penal Code - Receiving Stolen Property Dishonestly.

He pleaded guilty.

The Punishment for the offence could extend up to 20 years imprisonment and shall also be liable to a fine.

After deliberating on the mitigation of Cassian Anthony, the Learned Sessions Court Judge sentenced the accused to 1 year imprisonment.

Our client, 17 years old, was charged for the Murder (S. 300 of the Penal Code) of his mother & older brother and also for causing grievous hurt with a knife (S. 326 of the Penal Code) to his younger brother aged 13 years old on Wednesday, 18th June 2025 at Magistrates Court 4, Malacca.

Upon the charge being read to the accused, Mr. Cassian Anthony informed the Learned Magistrate that the accused is believed to be suffering from mental issues.

The Court set the next date for postmortem reports to be produced on the 24th of July 2025.

The team of lawyers for this case consist of Mr. Cassian Anthony, Mr. Purshotaman Puvanendran, Ms. E Lee Thian & Mr. Francis Augustine.

Anak Guam Kami telah dituduh di Mahkamah Majistret 4, Melaka pada Rabu, 17hb Jun 2025 bagi Kesalahan membunuh ibu dan abang beliau (S. 300 Kanun Keseksaan) dan juga bagi Kesalahan mencederakan Adik beliau menggunakan pisau lipat (S. 326 Kanun Keseksaan).

Setelah penama telah dibacakan pertuduhan, En. Cassian Anthony telah menyatakan kepada Mahkamah bahawa penama dipercayai mempunyai masalah mental.

Mahkamah telah menetapkan tarikh 24hb Julai 2025 bagi tarikh Sebutan Laporan Postmortem.

Kes ini akan dikendalikan oleh En. Cassian Anthony, En. Purshotaman Puvanendran, Cik E Lee Thian dan En. Francis Augustine.

MELAKA: Pelajar Tingkatan Lima didakwa di Mahkamah Majistret Ayer Keroh hari ini atas pertuduhan membunuh ibu dan abang kandung serta mendatangkan kecederaan parah terhadap adik bongsunya menggunakan pisau lipat, minggu lalu.
