Tonight, Hon. Paul Nyumbamoja had a fruitful engagement with the residents of Awendo at Mariwa Centre in South Sakwa Ward. Captain listened attentively to their concerns, aspirations, and ideas, and shared his vision for the betterment of our constituency.

As the incoming MP for Awendo, his key focus areas include¹:
- *Economic Empowerment*: Supporting local industries like the South Nyanza Sugar Company (Sony Sugar) to create jobs and stimulate economic growth.
- *Education*: Improving access to quality education, supporting schools like Mariwa Primary School, and enhancing teacher training to equip our youth with necessary skills.
- *Infrastructure Development*: Enhancing road connectivity, particularly the A1 road, to facilitate trade and commerce.
- *Healthcare*: Strengthening healthcare services to ensure access to quality medical care for all residents.

Nyumbamoja's vision for Awendo is to create opportunities that benefit everyone, from our farmers to our youth, and to ensure our town's growth is inclusive and sustainable. `Widows to me are like war heroes, people who have seen their loved ones die in their arms, and yet picked up and kept marching up the hill..

Today, Nyumba had the privilege of joining other Community Leaders at Mariwa Chief Camp Grounds ,To officially hand over a Certificate of Registration to the Windows under a Powerful theme “Widows in Class.”

This Community Based recognized occasion serves as a solemn reminder of the profound challenges faced by widows and orphans alike. It calls upon us to reflect, raise awareness, and renew our collective commitment to uplift those who often carry the burden of family and community in silence. Their strength, perseverance, and contribution to the fabric of our society remain immeasurable.

Hon; Paul Onyango (Nyumba Moja) took this moment to encourage widows to remain economically resilient and adaptive in today’s ever-changing landscape. True empowerment lies not in sympathy alone, but in meaningful support, access to opportunities, and the creation of sustainable livelihoods. It is our shared duty to stand by the vulnerable and ensure they are acorded the dignity, justice, and equity they rightfully deserve.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who continue to stand as advocates, partners, and champions of this cause. Your belief in the transformative power of compassion and action is helping rebuild lives and restore hope.

Today, I took a significant step in ensuring my continued commitment to serving the people of Awendo. I visited the IEBC office to verify my credentials as a registered voter at Ulanda Polling Unit, South Sakwa Ward.

In other exciting news, I'm thrilled to announce the opening of my new office in Nairobi, NYUMBA MOJA OVESEAS ADVENTURE! This office will serve as a hub for unlocking the potential of our talented youths from Awendo. Our mission is to bridge the gap between our youth and job opportunities abroad, empowering them to reach their full potential and contribute to the development of our constituency.

I'm excited about the opportunities this office will bring, and I invite all stakeholders to partner with us in shaping the future of our youths. Together, let's unlock the potential of Awendo's youth and build a brighter future for our community.
