The Board of Management entered into a strategic partnership with Fairway Hotel Kisumu on Friday, 25 September 2026, with the aim of enhancing member welfare by providing ABA members with access to quality hospitality services (accommodation and conference costs) at preferential and discounted rates.

• Full-Day Conference Package: KES 3,000 per person
• Half-Day Conference Package: KES 2,500 per person

𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬
Members will also have access to accommodation at the following preferential rates:
• Single Room Only: KES 5,000
• Single Bed & Breakfast (BB): KES 7,000
• Single Full Board (FB): KES 11,500
• Double Bed & Breakfast (BB): KES 9,000
• Double Half Board (HB): KES 12,500
• Double Full Board (FB): KES 16,500

To access the discounted rates and services, members will be required to present their Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Membership Identification Card together with their National Identity Card for verification purposes.

The Board welcomed the partnership and encouraged members to take advantage of the discounted offerings, noting that the initiative forms part of the Association's broader efforts to strengthen member benefits through collaborations with reputable service providers across the country.

𝗟𝗦𝗞 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁-𝗞𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗺𝘂 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿

The LSK West Kenya Branch visit was concluded at the Kisumu Chapter on Friday, 24th September 2026, where Board Chair Mr. Byron Menezes and Board Treasurer Ms. Wakesho Kililo represented the Board.

Members were sensitized on the mandate of ABA and encouraged to engage with the Association by filling in the feedback forms, which will be valuable in helping us improve our services and better meet members' needs.

Ms. Wakesho also informed members that the Board is working on a payment plan to allow members to pay for Life Membership in installments.

The Board thanked the membership for electing them to serve and for the opportunity to improve their welfare.

The Branch appreciated the Board for supporting its activities and for its efforts in improving the welfare of members.

The feedback obtained during the LSK West Kenya Branch visit has been pivotal in informing the Association's continued initiatives to address members' concerns and improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery.

LSK West Kenya Branch-Kakamega Chapter

The Board Treasurer, Ms. Wakesho Kililo, together with a member of the Secretariat, continued engaging members of the Kakamega Chapter during a dinner held yesterday as part of the LSK West Kenya Branch visit.

The engagement focused on creating awareness of the Association's mandate, operations, and the various support programmes available to advocates.

Members were also informed on the importance of updating their Next of Kin (NOK) and beneficiary details to ensure they can fully benefit from ABA programmes.

The ABA Board of Management, represented by the Board Treasurer Ms. Wakesho Kililo, joined the LSK Council during the LSK West Kenya Branch Visit, Bungoma Chapter and also attended the courtesy call at Bungoma Law Courts today, 24th September 2026.

Ms. Wakesho sensitized members on the Association's mandate and programmes, including Medical Assistance, Last Expense Benefit, Education Support for children of deceased advocates, Retirement Plan, AMREF Evacuation Cover, and Amani Counselling Services.

She reaffirmed the Board's continued commitment to supporting advocates' welfare.

The Board of Management of the Advocates' Benevolent Association is pleased to announce the ex*****on of a Memorandum of Understanding with 𝐁𝐢𝐝𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 , 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 . The hotel was represented by Mr. Brian Gichuki, Sales and Marketing Manager.
