Eve has had a jam packed couple of months, managing the Ceiling Breakers event that raised €280,000 for the , wrote the application that won Charity of the Year, she pitched Certified Proud to two international companies, saw Lady Gaga in Milan, visited Bilbao and… swipe for a surprise!

Demystifying Disinformation

There’s a lot of articles and opinions on the Trans community and sadly, much of it is disinformation.

Statistics are wildly exaggerated or reported inaccurately. Isolated incidents are used to create a false narrative to evoke fear.

We would like to invite you to our Trans Truths workshops, where we look at headlines, highlight the inaccuracies and spotlight the truth.

Trans people have always existed and will continue to exist. It’s up to us to ensure they are safe and celebrated.

We were buzzing to be invited to speak to Amazon for Bi+ Awareness Week last week! Benjamin (our token bisexual) spoke about the unique challenges faced by the bi+ community, such as bi erasure and intra-community discrimination, as well as the different identities included under the bi+ umbrella term. If you’ve ever been to one of our LGBTQ+ 101 workshops, you’ll know that Benj is very passionate about explaining the difference between bisexual and pansexual*

We got to have some really insightful conversations with the Glamazon network about inclusive language at work, the importance of allies in creating safe environments, and how avoiding assumptions about other people benefits us all.

Donya had the pleasure of delivering LGBTQ+ 101 to Skin Formulas, an Irish professional skincare brand, exploring key terminology, busting common myths, and facilitating those real, sometimes-challenging conversations that help teams learn and grow- together. Easy when the team are this great, though!

Instead, we wanted to take the time to reflect and do something truly meaningful. That’s why we chose to partner with Certified Proud and take part in an educational workshop. It gave us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of LGBTQ+ experiences, challenge ourselves to learn more, and ensure that we are showing up as active allies, not just passive ones.”
