Yes, we suffer from Stendhal Syndrome.
Join us to discover where and how it manifests itself in Apulia, but for now, let’s just say that today it struck us at MArTA (the archaeological museum in Taranto).
Every first Sunday of the month, at MArTA—as in most Italian museums—admission is free. We took in 3,000 years of history and tens of thousands of years of prehistory. The Greek and Roman eras are the most prominently featured in this beautiful museum. In addition, there are exhibits covering various periods from the Paleolithic era all the way to the 1970s—more specifically, an exhibition on the golden age of New York and the CBGB venue.
