Raghav Chadha and 6 other Rajya Sabha MPs have officially quit AAP to join the BJP. This changes everything for Arvind Kejriwal's party.

Here is what you need to know:
✅ Numbers Game: AAP is now down to just 3 loyalists in the Rajya Sabha (Sanjay Singh, ND Gupta, and Balbir Singh).

✅ Legal Shield: Since 7 out of 10 members moved together, they bypass the Anti-Defection law. No disqualification.

Yesterday i was in Shahbad Dairy, Outer Delhi.
On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, a small gathering had just concluded. A few minutes later, a local panchayat sat down... people talking, reflecting, debating. I also decided to join them.

People started talking about what's actually happening on the ground:
• Is discrimination still a reality at the ground?
• Has equality truly reached people, or is it still a work in progress?
• Are these celebrations becoming symbolic?

At one point, the discussion also touched on politics around such occasions.

There were different views. No single narrative. I recorded the entire conversation as part of NB Samvad.

Yesterday, i visited a hanuman temple in ward 29 to understand local concerns being raised by residents and temple authorities.

During conversations with the priest and local representative, a few key issues emerged:

• Complaints of theft and anti-social activities
• Youth performing stunts near the temple premises
• Lack of adequate response from local administration
• Growing security concerns, leading to the need to lock the temple
• Concerns around lack of financial support for temple caretakers

There are also certain historical claims associated with the temple, which remain unverified.

As an investigative journalist, the intent is to bring forward voices from the ground, without adding or distorting facts.

For the past few days, i've been obsessed with a file that most people are just calling "another bill." But as I started peeling back the layers of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, I realized there is a much bigger story hiding in the fine print.

As a journalist, my first question wasn't "What is in the bill?" but rather, "Why now, andd how exactly will this work?" I spent hours digging into the data, cross-referencing cabinet notes from April 8th, and looking at the technicalities of 'Delimitation.'

What I found was a jigsaw puzzle of numbers that will fundamentally change India's map by 2029:

🔹 A potential jump to 816 Lok Sabha seats.
🔹 The strategic (& controversial) use of the 2011 Census.
🔹 A shifting political balance between the North and South.

This investigation wasn't just about reporting the news, it was about solving a puzzle that impacts the very foundation of our democracy.
