The month also witnessed the successful inauguration of the Ayushman Arogya Camp under the 100-Day TB Elimination Campaign, an impactful Legal Awareness Programme, and the Sehat Sahi Labh Kaai community radio initiative—each contributing towards a healthier, informed, and empowered society.

We were honoured to participate in the special narrowcasting programme held at Village Rithiya under the *“Sehat Sahi, Labh Kai”* initiative, supported by Radio Omni 90.0 FM. The programme brought together members of the local community to engage in important discussions on health awareness, sanitation, nutrition, and various government welfare schemes aimed at improving quality of life.

Such grassroots initiatives play a vital role in empowering communities with knowledge, encouraging healthier lifestyles, and creating greater awareness about the resources and services available to them. A healthy society begins with awareness, not treatment alone.
No family should lose a loved one because a disease was ignored, misunderstood, or diagnosed too late.

Today, I had the opportunity to inaugurate the Ayushman Arogya Camp Free Health Check-Up organized under the 100-Day TB Elimination Campaign at Primary School Gangapur, Kaptanganj Block, Basti.

The initiative aimed at spreading awareness among villagers about TB screening, timely diagnosis, preventive healthcare, and the importance of regular health checkups. It was encouraging to see community members coming forward to learn, participate, and support the vision of a healthier future.

Health awareness at the grassroots level is one of the strongest foundations of a progressive society. Together, through awareness, early detection, and collective responsibility, we can move towards building a healthier and TB-free India.
