Do I need to go to court to make a Will in India?
One of the biggest myths around estate planning is that making a Will involves courts, judges, and lengthy legal procedures.
It doesn’t.
A valid Will can be created without going to court. In most cases, you simply need to ensure it is drafted correctly, signed by you, and witnessed by two people.
The real purpose of a Will is to make life easier for your family later—not more complicated.
The longer you postpone it, the greater the chance of confusion, disputes, or delays for the people you care about.
