In **Sujata Kumari & Ors. v. Rahul Kumar & Anr.**, the Court restored the Family Court’s order awarding **₹30,000 per month for each of the two minor daughters**, after the Allahabad High Court had reduced it to ₹15,000 each.
The Court recognised that while both parents share the responsibility of maintaining their children, a mother’s **care, upbringing and day-to-day contribution** cannot simply be measured in monetary terms.
