Bring greater structure to the first review of a Statement of Claim.

Analyse Statement of Claim in Lexis+® with Protégé™ helps legal professionals review an uploaded Statement of Claim to identify claims, factual allegations, parties, legal issues, and potential gaps or areas for closer legal review.

The skill proposes a structured plan before ex*****on, provides visibility as each workflow step progresses, and produces a structured Statement of Claim analysis as a Word document for professional review.

It is one example of how skills can support litigation, court-document analysis and other legal tasks within Lexis+® with Protégé™.

See what changed across contract versions — and focus review where it matters.

With Compare contracts in Lexis+® with Protégé™, legal teams can compare contract versions for differences in clause language, legal effect, risk and negotiation significance, helping prioritise areas for closer review.

Upload the relevant agreements, review the proposed plan before ex*****on, and follow the workflow as Protégé works through the comparison.

It is one of a growing range of skills available in Hong Kong to support corporate and commercial legal work through more structured, guided workflows.

Nominations for the 2026 LexisNexis® 40 UNDER 40 and ELITE Awards close at 6:00pm tomorrow, Tuesday 11 August.

Nominate here: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/amEpTKWxt9

If you have been meaning to enter, three things worth knowing before it closes.

It is decided on the work. The form asks what changed, and who felt the difference. A process that got faster. A risk that got smaller. A team that started working the way it should have all along. That is what gets read, and that is what gets scored.

The recognition travels. 40 UNDER 40 names honourees to both a Local List and an Asia List, so good work is seen well past the market it happened in. ELITE is age-neutral and open to teams as well as individuals, which is usually where legal innovation actually lives.

And you can nominate yourself. Self-nomination is permitted for both awards, and the form asks the same questions either way. If the strongest case you know of this year is your own, make it.

Some legal work belongs in more than one conversation.

A rising lawyer can be making waves we should be celebrating. They may also be quietly rewiring how their legal team uses technology.

The LexisNexis® 40 UNDER 40 and ELITE Awards recognise those different parts of the same story.

For the first time, an ELITE Award entry may be added to any 40 UNDER 40 entry for an additional US$50, giving you a way to put forward the full breadth of an individual’s or team’s work.

Nominations for the LexisNexis® 40 UNDER 40 and ELITE Awards 2026 close on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, 6:00 pm (GMT+8).

Last week, we welcomed Hong Kong’s young barristers to our Legal AI Prompting Essentials for Young Barristers workshop at LexisNexis.

Through live demonstrations and hands-on exercises with Lexis+ Hong Kong with Protégé, participants explored how stronger prompts can support legal research, document analysis and drafting, while keeping AI-generated work grounded, verifiable and subject to professional judgment.

It was encouraging to see so many emerging legal professionals actively engaging with both the opportunities and responsibilities that AI brings to legal practice.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of learning, discussion and networking. We look forward to continuing to support the next generation of legal professionals as they build practical AI skills for the future of law.
