Yesterday I tried my hand at some plumbing…. As a loved one had a leaky tap…. I thought I could do a quick and easy tap switch over…. After all plumbing isn’t that hard is it!

And I did it… but turns out that wasn’t the only problem. And although I am a very capable person, I’m not a plumber…. And that’s ok!

A few hours later and the plumber was getting this sorted, he admired the work I had done, but assisted me with completing the job.

It’s the same with lasting power of attorney documents, people have the option to DIY it, and some do…. Many don’t and need assistance, they need to talk through the family situation, they need confidence that they ar going to get the documents they want, they need answers to their questions…. They need me to hold their hand and help them get it sorted once and for all.

If you think that you are that person, and also don’t want to be a plumber…. Then I’m here, ready to help you finally tick lasting power of attorney documents off of your to-do list!

August booking slots are now available…

Can you believe we are already in the 8th month of the year? And it’s only 4 months until Christmas!

I know, a bit too early to mention the c word… however did you also know that if you started your documents today it’s likely they won’t be back and registered much before Christmas.

Lasting power of attorney documents are not something that can be produced and registered within hours, they take time, and the courts take a lot of time to register them, ranging from 8-16 weeks depending on what there workloads.

What if you needed them… what if something happens to you or someone you love?

Don’t put off sorting them out today for something you might need in the future, because it’s utterly heartbreaking when people don’t spend the time to get them done and then need them.

Managed to have great celebrations this last week with both my boys for their birthday’s, running my own business means that I never have to ask a boss to take some time off to celebrate with them.

However I did need to see a client on my eldest’s birthday as we had a deadline to meet.

I will be forever grateful for the community that support me being able to be a mum as well as a business owner ❤️❤️

Juggling the summer holidays and running my business is always fun…. No seriously it actually is, I get to see the kids and do nice things with them, but also get to see my clients and help them too. It’s like the best of both worlds… ❤️

I am sending you this by email as I am also writing the review as follows for you:

I had been thinking for a while that I ought to be arranging lasting power of attorneys for finance and health and welfare. I didn’t really feel confident enough to do them myself and was recommended by a friend to contact Emma Hazzledine.

After I contacted her Emma came to my house and explained everything about the process involved in applying and then registering the LPAs and answered any questions that I had about anything.

We then arranged another date for her to come to my house again to meet with me and my nominated attorneys to sign all the paperwork which she had prepared in advance.

She then sent the paperwork off to be registered and after quite a few weeks everything has been confirmed and in place.

I am so impressed with how friendly and professionally Emma dealt with everything and never minded how many questions any of us asked.

I am very grateful and I would recommend Emma to anybody who is thinking of arranging their LPAs.
