The customer's slotted basin waste was loose due to a missing backnut. A significant amount of rust, old silicone, and dirt was also present around the drain or***ce, which was thoroughly cleaned before fitting a brand-new slotted basin waste applying an appropriate amount of thick PTFE tape. Silicone was not used, as high-quality polymeric washers were in place. No leaks have been reported so far, and the customer is satisfied. With the customer's consent, before-and-after photos have been published.
