A Week in the Life... Puppy Edition!

What a week it has been!

📚 Brushed up on property law (or at least given the textbook a thorough inspection!).
📓 Attended his first team meeting.
🚶 Headed out on his first office walk.
💤 Perfected the art of the desk nap.
😍 Met lots of new people, hanging out in reception.

Safe to say, Reggie is settling in to office life brilliantly and has quickly become a favourite around the office.

Safe to say he has already become everyone’s favourite colleague.

Working in the office and spreading happiness wherever he goes is exhausting work, so we think he definitely earned this well-deserved nap!

We've done it again... another completion in just 12 days!

Following on from our recent post, we are pleased to have completed another property transaction in just 12 days from instruction to completion.

We were contacted by Daniel & Hulme who asked if we could assist with a sale that needed to complete urgently. The buyers were due to complete the sale of their own property on 20 July, so it was essential that the purchase completed on the same day to keep the chain together.

Thanks to the proactive approach of everyone involved, excellent communication between all parties and a real team effort, we were able to meet the deadline and complete on time.

Whilst we know that every transaction is different and timescales can vary, this is another great example of what can be achieved when everyone works together with the same goal.

A recent conveyancing success for the team at Clowes & Co.

We completed the purchase of a repossessed property in just 12 days from instruction. The transaction involved a mortgage, searches and a client who was away on holiday during the process, meaning completion couldn't take place until they returned.

By keeping the matter moving throughout, everything was ready to complete as soon as our client was back.

While we can't guarantee a 12-day completion on every transaction, we do pride ourselves on being proactive, keeping our clients informed and progressing matters as efficiently as possible.

It is with great sadness to share the news that Percy, our much loved office dog, suddenly passed away late on Friday evening.

Percy was such a special part of life at Clowes & Co. Known for his meeting and greeting duties in the office, and as our Head of Happiness. He brought so much joy to staff, clients and everyone who met him.

He will be deeply missed by all of us in the office, as well as by the many clients who knew and loved him.

Our thoughts and love are with Sarah and her family at this very difficult time.

Percy will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. 🤍
