Book a clean with us today, enjoy your lovely sparkling house immediately, and then simply pay us in 6 weeks when the mood takes you x

No interest.
No credit checks.

Because apparently sending two people, fuel, products, equipment and hours of labour into your home and then waiting over a month to be paid is an incredibly sustainable business model 😭😂

We’ve even considered launching:

Sadly, our finance department (me, staring at the banking app in disbelief) has advised that this scheme must now come to an end.

So from now on, payment is due once your clean is complete. If we don't receive payment before we leave your house, your next clean will be immediately cancelled and given to someone from our waiting list (really sorry, but we do feel like we've been patient enough!)

Thank you to the 99% of our clients who pay us straight away and never need chasing. You are our absolute favourites 🫶🏼

Another end of tenancy clean completed this week 🧼

We understand how important these cleans are, especially when there’s a property handover, new tenants moving in or a deposit depending on the condition the property is left in.

End of tenancy cleans are a completely different level to a standard domestic clean. They require more time, attention to detail and a much more thorough approach to make sure the property is left ready for whoever is walking through the door next.

This is an area we’re really focusing on more at Broadfern, alongside our commercial work, working with landlords, letting agents, property managers and businesses who need a reliable team they can trust to get the job done properly.

Just a little note to our lovely Broadfern clients

We’re currently going through a really difficult time within our family, so over the next week or two we’d really appreciate a little extra patience and understanding from everyone.

We’ll be doing everything we can to keep things running as smoothly and normally as possible, but there may be occasions where we need to rearrange or cancel a clean at short notice. If this affects you, we’ll always contact you directly by text.

As much as we always aim to maintain a professional service and give every client the 5 star standard we pride ourselves on, behind the business we are still just people too. Sometimes life throws things at you that make it difficult to operate at 100%, no matter how much you want to.

We’d never want anyone to feel like the standard of care we give has changed, but over the next couple of weeks we may just need a little grace while we navigate things behind the scenes.

SELF-EMPLOYED CLEANERS WANTED 🧼🤍

We’re looking for a couple of self-employed cleaners to join Broadfern.

You must drive and have your own transport as you’ll be travelling between clients, and ideally we need people who can be flexible with days depending on what work we have in.

You'll never work later than 3pm, so it could be perfect for someone who wants something that works around school drop-offs, family life or just doesn’t want to be working into the evening.

I do want to be really honest though — you need to actually enjoy cleaning. It is hard graft, it’s physical and some days you’ll be absolutely knackered 😂 We can’t afford to take people on who just see it as “easy cleaning work” because it really isn’t. If you don’t enjoy it, you’ll slowly start to hate it and that shows in the standard of work.

We need people who are:

- Reliable and actually turn up when they say they will
- Punctual
- Friendly and comfortable being in clients’ homes
- Happy working at a fast pace
- Able to use their own initiative without needing to be told every little thing
- Really particular and notice the small things
- Physically fit enough for a busy day of cleaning
- Trustworthy and respectful of people’s homes and belongings
- Someone who takes pride in their work and doesn’t cut corners
- Happy to work as part of a team but also confident working alone when needed

Previous cleaning experience would be great, but for me attitude, reliability and having high standards are just as important.

What a difference 😍✨

We’ve spent the day giving this lovely local bakery a full deep clean and just LOOK at those floors! 🤩

We may have got slightly carried away and ended up staying an extra hour 😅 but when you can see a transformation like this happening, it’s very hard to stop!

There’s nothing better than leaving a space looking fresh, clean and completely transformed 🧼✨

Just a little heads up for anyone looking to book in with us at Broadfern 🧹🤍

We are currently FULLY BOOKED on Thursdays & Fridays for the foreseeable.

As much as we would genuinely love to squeeze everyone in, it’s just not always possible and the last thing we want to do is overbook ourselves and then not be able to give everyone the service they deserve.

We also have lots of lovely regular clients who have been with us from the very beginning, so we always need to make sure their usual slots are protected and prioritised before taking on anything extra 🥰

So if you’re looking for a regular Thursday or Friday clean, unfortunately we don’t currently have any availability. If anything does become available, I’ll always pop it on our page!
