Another busy week for Stevie Smith Property Maintenance! 🔨🏡

This week has included:

✅ Installing stunning herringbone flooring, completely transforming a living space.
✅ Responding to a customer’s urgent call and replacing a faulty electric shower at short notice.
✅ Building and assembling outdoor play furniture, ready for plenty of fun in the garden this summer.

Another busy week completed at Stevie Smith Property Maintenance 🔨👏

This week has included:

✔️ Repairing damaged plasterboard inside a cupboard
✔️ Transforming bathroom tiles with fresh paint
✔️ Building a custom under-counter MDF storage unit with shelving & doors
✔️ Replacing faulty smoke alarms
✔️ Installing dado rail up a staircase
✔️ Fence build completed
✔️ Bespoke MDF utility room cupboard build
✔️ Painting a conservatory, dining room & living area
✔️ And of course sending out more estimates for both new and returning customers 🙌

Just wrapped up this 27 metre fence build, starting at 6ft high and stepping down to 4ft to suit the garden layout perfectly 👌

Built solid, level throughout, and finished off clean for a tidy, long-lasting result. The stepped design keeps privacy where it’s needed while opening up the rest of the space 👍

🔥 THIS WEEK WAS NON-STOP… 🔥

From start to finish it’s been graft all week at Stevie Smith Property Maintenance 💪

Here’s just some of what’s been smashed out 👇

⚒️ Custom MDF cupboard door – built from scratch
🎯 10x acoustic wall panels + dartboard setup (looks unreal!)
🚿 New bar mixer shower fitted
🧼 14x wall-mounted dispensers drilled into tiles (precision job!)
👣 Fresh vinyl flooring laid
🔪 Worktop cut
🔥 Loft insulation to keep those bills down
🎨 Mould sorted & bathroom ceiling brought back to life

😳 Bathroom ceiling transformation completed today…

This bathroom had developed serious mould and staining due to condensation, leaving the ceiling looking pretty rough.

After some proper prep work today the ceiling was:

🧽 Deep cleaned and mould treated
🛠 Fully prepared and sealed
🎨 Repainted to bring it back to life

The difference is night and day, fresh, bright and mould free again.

Mould like this is very common in bathrooms with poor ventilation, but the good news is it can usually be sorted quickly with the right treatment and prep.

🔧 Challenging Wet Room Transformation Completed 🚿

This one definitely tested the problem-solving skills!

The existing wet room vinyl had perished and started leaking, which meant water was getting through the floor and causing issues underneath.

After investigating the cause, the best solution was to completely rebuild the floor properly before tiling.

✅ Floor prepared and repaired
✅ Waterproof decoupling mat installed
✅ Full waterproofing to joins and edges
✅ New tiles installed with waterproof grout
✅ New hinged shower door fitted and sealed

Wet rooms need to be done properly to prevent leaks, so the key here was making sure the whole area was fully waterproofed before the tiles went down.

Really pleased with how this one turned out, a big improvement and now completely watertight again 💪

🔧 Another productive day for Stevie Smith Property Maintenance! 🔧

Today’s jobs completed ✔️

✅ Built and installed a brand new 8x6 metal shed — solid, secure and ready to use.
🚪 Trimmed down and completed 2 internal doors ready after the new carpets were fitted — perfect finish and smooth closing.
💡 Supplied and fitted a new extractor fan with LED light — better airflow and modern look
🚽 Replaced a worn toilet seat for a quick bathroom refresh.
✨ Finished off by swapping out a ceiling light, giving the room a cleaner modern look.

No job too small — from quick fixes to larger jobs, I’ve got you covered 👍

🔧 Another Busy Week for Stevie Smith Property Maintenance 🔧

It’s been one of those full-on weeks where no two days were the same, exactly how I like it! 💪

Here’s a little look at some of the jobs completed:

✔️ Wallpapering & decorating
✔️ Replacing ceiling lights
✔️ Running Ethernet cables neatly through floorboards
✔️ Fitting a secure fence mailbox
✔️ Wall tiling
✔️ Installing a new bath waste & overflow
✔️ Electric shower replacement
✔️ Repairing PVC bathroom ceiling cladding
✔️ Installing a concrete ceiling anchor point for an aerial hoop
✔️ Hanging mirrors & fitting dado rail panelling

And to top it all off… a full weekend at home painting my daughter’s bedrooms and building brand new beds, because the work never really stops when you love what you do! 👨‍🔧🎨
