Do I need a Licensed Conveyancer for a remortgage?

The short answer is yes, in most cases.

Your new lender will normally require a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor to act on their behalf and deal with the legal aspects of the remortgage, including redeeming your existing mortgage and registering the new lender's charge.
