Yesterday’s Living Well, Your Way Later Life event at St Mary’s Church in Putney was brilliant to be part of. Really enjoyed meeting so many likeminded businesses who share the same commitment to supporting older people, people living with disability, and unpaid carers. It was great connecting with professionals we hope to work with in future, including Pathways Through Dementia, The Story Keepers, Enable Leisure, Wandsworth Carers' Centre, Chris Rose from Rose Partner Solutions, and many more.

A real highlight was meeting the Mayor of Wandsworth, hearing her thoughtful speech, and speaking with local councillors. Their support for community wellbeing initiatives makes such a difference.

This event is a fantastic community initiative which is helping to raise awareness of the support and services available locally. We know from experience that people often struggle to find trusted providers, so having an array of organisations together in one place is invaluable. Hopefully this can become a regular event so people always know where to turn when they need help.

Jointly organised with Care UK, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic community day. See full event details below 👇

Huge thanks to Sonia Labrow from Walfinch and Rachel Lawrence from Care UK for hosting such a welcoming event yesterday — and to Nicole Whate Grey Matters Consultancy and Ashley Jordan from One Stop Organisers, whose talks were both insightful and inspiring. Ashley’s session on helping people downsize efficiently and stress‑free was a real highlight! 👏

It was wonderful meeting so many interesting professionals — Will Hammond Cherry Trees UK, Fleur My Kind Of Day - Activities & Companionship, Jenny R Porthaven Care Homes, Kathleen Sight for Surrey, Julie Collins and Justin Victor, to name just a few. I’m already looking forward to the next one!
