"As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® since 2020, as a lawyer for more than 10 years, as a project manager for more than 15 years, and as a product manager and developer for more than 20 years, I have dealt with many risks.

Any risk I manage as a project manager, I can manage as a lawyer and vice-versa. For example, resource management and procurement management in a project. There are different risks associated with using in-house team members vs external contractors. I draft legal agreements and policies tied to how employees might be required to engage where it may work differently with contractors depending on the negotiations.

I also negotiate these deals both from a legal and project management perspective, addressing the relevant risks comprehensively."

Happy Friday from defineXTEND! Our founder's volunteering efforts with our charitable partner Everything Will Be Ukraine / Все буде Україна continue and there will be some major updates soon, but we wanted to share a different professional update this time.

Following leaving his day job at the end of April, Raihan Islam is repurposing his legal, management, and technology consultancy Inspire Creative Information Technology (Inspire Creative IT) into a more comprehensive strategy alignment and dispute resolution service, defineXTEND, a brand he created in 2007 as the successor to RaiBot, which was a chat bot with heavy automation capabilities. He's still interested in AI, but he's much more interested in helping real people solve their problems with other people.
