This is Melissa Dinsdale. She created a fake page in her ex-partner's name and sent herself abusive messages to get him in trouble 😮

In "wicked" and vengeful offences, Melissa Dinsdale repeatedly lied to police about the man and even got him registered as a domestic abuser on the Clare's Law register.

A court heard they had known each other since they were children and were "childhood sweethearts". They lost contact but then began a relationship in 2016 and had two children together.

Dinsdale, 29, got a non-molestation order against the man, which he cooperated with and didn't oppose because he believed he would not have any further contact with her.

After they separated, the man began a new relationship and his new partner fell pregnant, which was announced on social media.

It was from that point on Dinsdale began making false allegations about him breaching the order. Rachel Butt, prosecuting, said: "He believed it was a direct result of the news being announced."

The spiteful woman got him arrested multiple times for offences he had not committed and caused him to spend 72 hours in custody.

He said Dinsdale also got a court order stopping him seeing his children, which left him feeling guilty their dad had been taken away from them.

Recorder Nick Tucker told her: "He must have been waiting for the police to come knocking and that he would have to spend the rest of the day sitting in a sparse police cell accused of serious offences.

"He was arrested on several occasions and spent at least 72 hours in police custody. That's exactly what you intended should happen.

"That was your revenge. These were wicked offences."

Dinsdale, of Thorne Square, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to seven counts of doing acts tending and intended to pervert the course of justice.

She was handed a suspended sentence due to the fact her children would suffer were she to go to prison.

Funny thing is, we think exactly the same about Poverty Watch UK. 😂
Shouty posts, questionable information, plenty of agenda… and apparently everyone else is the problem.
You really couldn't make it up. 🤣

You’d think they’d know by now… 🤔

After repeatedly talking about poverty, you’d expect them to have a pretty clear understanding of what actually constitutes poverty by now.

Perhaps asking the same question again is easier than providing some answers. 😏

It’s sad for Torbay. 💔

Memorial benches are about treasured memories, not revenue raising. Families are paying to create a lasting tribute to someone they loved — surely the location shouldn’t determine how much those memories are worth.

Some things should be about remembrance, not profit.

Britain’s Most Evil Mother / Love You to Death is another good watch. It’s a three-part documentary that raises awareness of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, now more commonly referred to by medical professionals as Fabricated or Induced Illness (FII).

There are quite a few similarities to someone we know — for example, claims that they had a twin who died, allegations of being r***d and children being coached into believing they had been abused. It makes for a particularly interesting watch when you recognise some of those patterns.

Laura Johnson was just six when it dawned on her that her mother might be a bad person.

Premier Division Hypocrisy 😏

“Some awful people on social media… we must carry on against racism! Hate must never win.”

Absolutely agree — racism and hate have no place on social media.

But perhaps the same rule should apply to everyone, including those shouting the loudest about it.

You can't condemn online hostility while simultaneously dishing out your own version of personal attacks and nastiness.

Waugh isn't playing Sunday League here — she's firmly in the Premier Division of true hate and nastiness. ⚽😂

Apparently Facebook is now the police, the courts and the evidence room all rolled into one.

If someone really sent the message shown in this post — wishing someone an “excruciating death” and saying they should be “r***d to death” — then it is absolutely vile and should be reported to the police. Simple.

But apparently the next step is to plaster it all over Facebook, add a dramatic “REPORTED!” and invite Facebook to conduct the trial. Because why bother with boring things like evidence, police investigations and due process when you can just announce it on social media?

If she genuinely has evidence of criminal behaviour, then report it properly and let the authorities deal with it. We have very serious doubts that she is actually reporting any of these numerous alleged incidents to people's employers either — which makes her repeated claims about “getting people sacked” difficult to take seriously. If people really are losing their jobs because of her reports, where is the evidence of that?

Given everything that has just happened surrounding Jason Arday — someone she has been publicly campaigning in support of — well................ She is campaigning for accountability and fairness for one person while apparently being quite happy to publicly accuse others, without presenting the evidence or allowing due process to take its course. That contradiction rather deserves some scrutiny too.

You don't need to turn it into a daily episode of Woe Is Me: The Facebook Files. But I suppose the constant drama is her oxygen, while the blind followers dutifully lap it up, reinforce the narrative and keep stroking that already rather inflated ego

Torbay of the future — have your say

Torbay is planning for the next 20 years, and the decisions being made now will shape Torquay, Paignton and Brixham for years to come.

Housing, infrastructure, transport, regeneration and protecting our environment are all part of the Local Plan.

It’s worth taking a look at what is being proposed — and making sure local voices are heard.

Check the Torbay Council planning portal.

Someone is really jumping on the bandwagon over Jason Arday, even going as far as posting photographs of people who have said things about him on social media, apparently to “hold them to account”. In reality, it looks a lot more like outing and publicly shaming people.

But perhaps a little self-reflection is needed here. How many times in the past has she been vile, cruel and completely relentless towards people , including making accusations and telling things about them that were simply not true? And she still does it on a daily basis

What if one of those people had reached the point of taking their own life?

How can someone keep going on and on about bullying while simultaneously behaving in the same way

The hypocrisy is staggering.
