This time last year, Bennett & Brown was launched! We’re incredibly proud of how much we’ve achieved in a relatively short amount of time and in what has been a very unpredictable year. When we started, we were clear that our clients would always be our main priority and we have gone above and beyond what we had planned. None of us imagined that after just a year we’d have come so far, would have matched what other firms took years to build and even begun to expand past some of the other firms in our industry.

Since launching:
• We have expanded our services from offering just 3 to now having 10 different services.
• We have launched a Pro Bono Fund so that cost is never a barrier to accessing our services for vulnerable adults.
• We have expanded into a second business location and were the first private deputyship firm in the country to do so.
• We have launched a subscription model to give clients greater freedom and control over their support and allowing them to pay less. We are the only private deputyship firm to have done this.
• We have had clients referred to us who didn’t quite fit with the services we had on offer and instead of turning those clients away, we created services to fit around them.

We’re excited to see how much we can achieve in the upcoming year!

We’re so happy to be partnering with Brian Kapuku and Review It to offer our clients a Document Review service and help to make their lives that little bit easier.
With our document review service, clients will be able to submit documents/ contracts/ agreements to us to have them looked over, checked and explained. Important clauses and T&Cs will be broken down and simplified in order to make the document easier to understand and more accessible to vulnerable adults.
This service will help us to ensure that vulnerable adults who are living independently are supported in understanding what they’re getting into when signing contracts or agreements without having us take control of all aspects of their financial affairs.
We’re really looking forward to having Brian work alongside us and helping us to expand the ways in which we can support vulnerable adults.

We’re so excited to finally be launching our new service subscription model! For us, a client-centred approach has always been of the upmost importance and with our new service model we can offer a greater range of flexibility and personalised service to each and every client whilst also saving them money.

From now on, clients or their circles of care will have a choice between our traditional flat rate services or will be able to customise their own, more personalised service with the ability to opt-in to different aspects of services that suit their needs and only paying for those that they use.

This means that clients who only need our help once a month will no longer have to pay the same price as those who need us three times a week just because they’re all under the same service.

This is a structure that currently doesn’t exist in our industry but one that we feel is so important in making clients and their circles of care feel like they have a greater level of choice over and input into their support as well as ensuring that they’re paying as little as possible.

At Bennett & Brown, we pride ourselves on providing a personal and personalised service to suit the individual client. We also strongly believe in building a rapport with each and every one of our clients.

We operate across the whole of the UK but have amassed a large amount of clients in the Midlands and it has become unsustainable for our Directors to be travelling from London and Kent to see these clients frequently. As a result, we have decided to launch in a second business location so that we’ll be able to have a team on the ground in the Midlands to assist these clients.

This will make us the only Private Deputyship firm in the country to have more than one business location and it will allow us to have a better relationship with our clients and be able to provide an even more person-centred service than we otherwise would have been able to.

At Bennett & Brown, we are committed to making a difference and doing the best for our clients in any way that we can.

After being approached by a new client and learning that they had been turned down by other firms because they were unable to pay their fees, we decided to step in and assist this individual despite knowing that we would be unable to collect any fees for this case. We set up our company with the aim of offering professional, tailored and comprehensive services to some of the most vulnerable people in society and we strongly believe that the cost should not be a barrier to accessing these services.

As a result, the Bennett & Brown Pro Bono Fund is launching! This fund will ensure that regardless of a client’s financial situation they are able to access our services. Each situation will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but we guarantee to never turn a client away.
