Always a treat filming with Ayush 😂

Let’s all admit it: being in front of the camera is not easy. We’ve all been there and we’ve had that awkward moment. 😬

This What’s up Wednesday we’d like to show you what goes on behind the scenes, when we shoot ads at CourtCorrect!

Watch along as Ayush tries to keep a straight face while shooting a video for our new Ad campaign; it’s hilarious. 😂

If you imagine a just world, what does it look like? 🤔

We asked people in, London, what they think the meaning of justice is, and the answers range from simple to thought provoking. But one thing remains: everybody has an opinion on what justice means.

Episode 1 of The Board of Justice with our charming host , Ayush Sanghavi ,is out now and, well, we're curious to hear your opinion too!🗣💯

I can’t believe he said “YES!!” 😱

Since you all loved the previous episode of ‘Just my Opinion’, we asked a few more people what they thought about this world we live in; the answers just keep getting better and better! 😉

How many of you would agree with what the ‘yes’ kid said? 🤔

There are currently 47 million cases pending in the Indian courts.

Around 182,000 cases have been pending for over 30 years.

It is only thanks to the Herculean efforts of the roughly 20,000 judges in India that there is any movement in the system at all.

This problem is not unique to India.

It currently takes civil cases an average of 75 weeks (well over a year 🤯) to reach trial in the UK. This is the highest figure **in a century**.

Around the world, justice is being delayed and denied.

What happens when disputes don't get resolved?

- the economy suffers, because property rights remain disputed

- democracy suffers, because people lose faith in the legal system

- public health suffers, because criminals aren't prosecuted effectively

What can we do to address this crisis?

Chief Justice of India N. V. Ramana has once again called for measures to improve the judge-to-population ratio. At present, India has a sanctioned strength of 25,628 judges. This is when over 4.7 crore cases are pending in courts across the country.

We love a kid who talks capitalism! 💯

Episode 2 of ‘Just My Opinion” is out now! 🤩

Watch along as we head to the streets of London and talk to a bunch of people about what makes a fair world. The rich having too much money and abortion really seemed to be up there in the opinions!

Comment below which answer was your favourite and if you’d want to see more of these, hit the like button and share this around! 😏

A week’s hard work definitely deserves a fun reward like this one 🔫💯

This ‘What’s up Wednesday’, we’d like to show you what we get up to after a good day’s work.

Last week, we went GAMING!

Team CC headed to OTHERWORLD, the Virtual Reality Experience in London, where we played with and against each other at a number of games!

In conclusion, we can definitely say that if we were ever part of a zombie apocalypse, the CC team would make it to the end ;)

All work and no play, makes everyone dull, for sure! And that’s exactly what the CourtCorrect team aims for – a good balance between the two!

Have a great Wednesday everyone, and don’t forget to take some time off to do something fun! 🤩

On today's 'What's up Wednesday', we'd like to introduce you to the Uppsala Research Centre (URC), which was formed when our newest member, Robin Saberi, joined Arvid Wenestam in the Data Science team! 🎉

“Hi, I'm Robin Saberi. I have a background (and a master’s degree) in statistics with a specialisation in curation and modelling of textual data. After working for a year as data scientist in various research projects and teaching at Uppsala University, I was fortunate to join the team at CourtCorrect earlier this month.

“As a data scientist I work on gathering and curating data, developing and maintaining AI pipelines, and performing more general data analysis for various projects. As both me and my data scientist colleague Arvid are based in Uppsala, we form the Uppsala Research Centre (URC) team, working together to make justice accessible for everyone!

“I am really excited to join a startup with such a great environment and important mission. This will be a great experience working with both new amazing people and new technologies."
