The Ministry of Justice has confirmed it will continue to fund the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme for a further period from 1 April 2022.

We expect to hear how long the scheme has been extended. This is great news for families looking to resolve child issues out of court.

The Ministry of Justice has confirmed the release of further vouchers under the Government Voucher Scheme.

Thousands more separating parents will avoid stressful courtroom battles as the Government boosts its landmark family mediation scheme with an additional £1.3 million.

This year, Family Mediation Week takes place from 17 January to 21 January 2022. It is an opportunity to raise awareness of family mediation and of the benefits it can bring to separating families.
Over the course of the week itself, the Family Mediation Council will be presenting webinars, publishing resources, information, blog posts, engaging in social media activity and issuing news stories to local, regional and national media explaining the benefits of mediation.
