🚨CASE STUDY🚨

STORY TELLING TIME...

One of my recent customer Christine an elderly lady who's home had been stuck on the market for long time, nearly a year.

So I sent her my letter...

Turns out her estate agent wasn't really doing a satisfying job with the sale. She felt like she was left out. She was desperately looking for an alternative and viable solution.

I listened to her story so I can have a better understanding of her needs. In 5 days time her house was sold and we were in conveyancing.

Unfortunately we encountered some challenges during the transaction because of some structural issues related to the property. Right next door a damaged retaining wall was flagged on the survey that belongs to a community primary school next door therefore it belongs to the local council.

The transaction is stopped until this matter is resolved. I jumped on emails and phones without hesitation to get to the bottom of this ASAP.

In this unfortunate scenario the local council did not show much empathy and refused to help despite the dozens of phone calls I made to them that they were trying to dodge half the time.

This left me with no choice but to contact the school directly for advice. I managed to get in touch with the school manager. I introduced myself and briefed her about the situation. They seemed very understanding and they looked like they were taking this matter on board. We are back on track...!

Until we weren't...

Shortly after our conversation with the school we received an email from them saying "after reviewing the case, our investigation did not highlight any action requirements in that section".

No help was coming...

This is about Christine who is looking forward to her well deserved retirement and people turn their back on her.

What saddens me is people with the ability, power and money to help out but decided not to. In terms of cost it would mean nothing to them but to someone like the lovely Christine would mean the world.

There's an answer to every question and there's a solution for every problem.

🚨A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH🚨

What an eventful but rather educational day!

I pulled a jackpot with this beauty not too long ago.

This gorgeous 2 bed was a former headquarter of some shady "gardening" activity by it's former tenants owned by a very disappointed and motivated landlord.

It was a truly shocking experience viewing this one and trust me these are the good pictures....
But it was not the first house I saw in such horrible state and certainly won't be the last.

Us dream chasers have to eat a lot of frogs 🐸 before we cough up the prince 🤴..... wait that didn't sound right 🤔.

Anyway you know exactly what I mean, it comes with the . Not the TIMING but the TIME IN that truly matters when it comes to .

Confidence is NOT about thinking you're better than anyone else...

🚨PROPERTY IS A PEOPLE BUSINESSES🚨

One of the local home owners responded to my flyer I distributed the other week.

It was an elderly lady who were looking to sell her home for personal reasons. She sounded very emotional on the phone so I asked her if she would like to sit down for a chat with me as I was only down the road from her place.

The house was a beautiful 3 bed Georgian house. She gave me a tour and talked about the history of the building. She was in tears pretty much the whole time. She was going through very difficult times and was fighting with some illness too that made her give up her long time home.

The house was very nice and spacious with beautiful original features. However it required some cosmetic attention. As we call it in the business it needed a cuddle 🙂.

I really felt for the lady.

I didn't want to keep her for long. She was about to sit down for tea. So I thanked her for the hospitality and I left my contact details with her in case she wishes to discuss it further at another time.

An event like that you can never be prepared for. We never know who we meet on our . That's why the biggest truth about that is truly a . Being able to help someone through the tough times is the highest reward we can receive in this business.

Three years ago today I had one of the best and top moment of my life. 🤵

I had the greatest pleasure of standing on stage and receiving a community award from my educators. 🧑‍🏫

Joining this community was the best decision I made. I'm nothing but grateful for the people I have met along the way and the knowledge I have accumulated. 🧑‍🎓

Entrepreneurship is like a rollercoaster ride. It's a path packed with challenges, but it's also sprinkled with incredible benefits. 💁🏼‍♂️

Success takes time. It's not an overnight journey. Stay patient, stay persistent, and your hard work will pay off. Every mistake is a lesson, and every setback is an opportunity for a comeback. 🏃🏼
