Frederico has moved to the UK in 2003 and has been living here ever since. It was always his dream to qualify in law to help people overcome their legal issues.
On February 2015, Frederico completed his Bachelor of Laws in the UK at the University of East London.
On August 2017, Frederico completed his Master of Science in Law, Business and Management with distinction at the University of Law. This award satisfies the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s requirements for the Legal Practice Course.
During 2013/2014, Frederico worked as a Student Volunteer in the Law Clinic of the University of East London providing free legal advice to the local community. He gained experience in the areas of consumer and contract, employment, welfare benefits and tenant & landlord.
Also in 2014, Frederico completed 2 weeks’ Mini-Pupillage with 9 King’s Bench Walk experiencing different aspects of the UK criminal justice system.
During 2017/2018, Frederico has worked as a Legal Adviser for the Recruitment and Employment Confederation advising clients mainly in employment law, but also in the areas of immigration law, data protection, criminal records and DBS, criminal law, tax law, pensions and contracts.
Most recently, on November 2017, Frederico has registered with the OISC as a level 3 Immigration Adviser and started FM Immigration Consultancy. Since then, he has been advising clients in different areas of UK immigration law including British nationality, EEA applications, ILR and others.
